Students’ Opportunities

Terms & Conditions: AAICU Exchange at AUA

  • Application Process: AUA students apply for AAICU exchanges through the International / Study Abroad Office. Requirements may include GPA, recommendation letters, and a study plan.
  • Credit Transfer: Courses taken at partner institutions generally transfer back to AUA — once approved in advance by the academic advisor.
  • Duration: Exchange typically lasts one semester but may be extended to a full academic year, depending on the partner institution.
  • Financials: Students may pay tuition at AUA while on exchange (depending on AAICU agreement) or at the host institution. Scholarship or financial aid opportunities depend on both AUA and the partner university.
  • Language Requirements: Many AAICU universities require proficiency in English. Some may ask for TOEFL / IELTS scores or equivalent.
  • Housing / Logistics: Host institutions typically help exchange students with housing arrangements, though students may also find off-campus options.
  • Faculty Exchange: In addition to students, AUA faculty can participate in AAICU mobility for teaching or collaborative research. Visits are coordinated with partner institutions.
