The Office of Study Abroad & International Student Services at American University of Armenia organized a small gathering titled “Mix & Mingle” Party to bring incoming and outgoing students together in an interactive and welcoming environment.

The event took place on November 1 in the Student Union (Room 003N, Workshop Area) from 5:50 PM to 6:30 PM. The purpose of the gathering was to create a space where students could connect, exchange information, and learn more about study abroad opportunities. Each table featured signs representing different partner universities, with one or two student representatives at each desk. Attendees were able to approach the tables, ask questions, and engage in informal conversations about academic life, application processes, and cultural experiences at the respective institutions.

In addition, participants enjoyed two presentations about University of Mons, delivered from complementary perspectives. One presentation was prepared by Maxime Rodrigus, an exchange student at AUA during the 2019–2020 academic year, who shared his personal insights and experiences. The second was presented by AUA students who had spent a semester at the University of Mons, offering valuable reflections on studying abroad and adapting to a new academic and cultural setting.

The event fostered meaningful dialogue, encouraged peer-to-peer learning, and strengthened the sense of global engagement within the AUA community.
