In collaboration with American University of Armenia, the European Writing Centers Association (EWCA) is hosting its second

Summer Institute
May 22-26, 2023

The Summer Institute is designed to provide:

  • The opportunity to step away from the hectic day-to-day work to reflect on writing center philosophies and priorities
  • A review of key aspects of writing center work
  • The chance to engage in discussions with other professionals from EWCA and across the globe 
  • Lasting professional relationships and collaborations among universities

Who can apply:

  • Anyone working in writing centers, learning centers, academic support centers
  • Any professional who wants to set up a new writing center
  • Writing center administrators who are new to directing or experienced professionals who look for new direction for their writing center
  • Professional staff of a writing center who are searching for a professional development opportunity
